Utrecht voert 30 km per uur in op 241 straten in één nacht

Utrecht voert in de nacht van 9 op 10 juli 2026 op 241 straten tegelijk een maximumsnelheid van 30 kilometer per uur in. Afgeplakte verkeersborden worden op voorhand geplaatst waarna medewerkers in één nacht de stickers zullen verwijderen. De gemeente verlaagt de snelheid omdat dit veiliger is voor weggebruikers.

In Rome, the city centre is a “30 zone” from today too. And they published a map!

On the website of the municipality there is a list of all streets that will have their maximum speed lowered:

Sadly they don’t show a map. That would be a nice visualization.
