I have seen some familiar names among them, but it seems so far only very few “mayor” celebrities have signed.

The two on the list that i would assume to be among the most known inside Germany, Joko Winterscheidt and Klas Häufer Umlauf, are slapstick comedians known for silly stunts, often involving a lot of alcohol. imagine a more tame version of “jackass” as a side gig for moderators.

Otherwise i recognize Marc-Uwe Kling, who is famous for the Kangaroo chronicles and Qualityland. With him i am not surprised to find him on the list as his work is quite political. Karoline Herfurth and Daniel Brühl are maybe known internationally from some movies.

About half the names indicate roots outside of Germany.

It seems the “old white men” and “old white women” are largely absent. I hope that changes as the letter gains traction.
