I don’t know about your processor but I think your memory can handle SNES games just fine, you need only one emulator and that is Retroarch, after install you open it with sudo and you can install cores for anything, from Sega Genesis to Mame, SNES, Ps1, psp, dreamcast etc, it’s one of the best

I come from reddit which is an extremely toxic place with all those mods abusing their power banning everyone almost for no reason, I hope this site gets obsolete once and for all

I had big issues on Dell gaming laptop and Nvidia drivers in Lubuntu, after updating the drivers I got log in freezes, so after second reinstall of the OS I disabled acpi on start up, it boots slower but works just fine, I never understood why Nvidia neglects Linux so much
I m stuck with Lubuntu for more than 10 years now, they do the job for me and I m good,
what I will always love about them is that I can customise them to be exactly how they functioned and looked the first time I used them and that’s all I want from an OS, I don’t want extremely drastic changes on my OS I don’t get impressed much by that, but low usage of resources is enough, my mentality with computers is if it’s not broken no reason to fix it
Don’t forget in France the state covers medical insurance, yes they are way better than a lot of things from US, wake up!
