I have only tried two games yet, schedule 1 and cs2, but read the comment I left to the other guy. I have explained there more. Also, I have done digging and it appears Nvidia just has shit drivers support for their cards on Linux and the open source ones are buggy on new rtx cards.

I still have two more laptops to install Linux on, one will have Linux mint and the gaming one , I will keep having windows as it still offers 10-20 % better performance while gaming than any Linux os.
I don’t see how Dutch can do anything about it other than bowing their heads and agreeing to the Chinese. Like, everything is produced and packed in china, so they can try to take over as much as they want, but all cards are held by the Chinese.
Exactly this. I have tried many different distros, but I always end up sticking with mint for casual day use and pop os for gaming with my Nvidia GPU laptop. Mainly, because easy of use and simplicity on daily drivers and because pop os is the only distro that fixes the issue with Nvidia rtx cards being fed full wattage instead of constraining it to mere 60% cap for whatever reason, which hurt my gaming performance in return drastically until I have figured out what is happening. Pop os has its own share of problems tho, mainly the WiFi adapter driver issue where it doesn’t like invisible SSID’s, so it keeps dropping the connection every minute unless you unhidd your SSID.
