The reason we can strong arm them into giving us more money is that they need people from the EU working in their economy. If we suspend the right of free labor movement with them it bricks their economy.

Other than that, they do more commercial business with EU than the past so it affects their economy if we start taking away benefits and increases tariffs.

I bet there are people on their side that think they gave up too much money like on our side we think they are not giving enough. The matter of fact is that they have been strong armed into paying a fairer share because they let their economy be too dependent on EU labour and interconnected with EU.

Because that new life was cheap labor opportunities. Once the rates went up the opportunities went down and couldn’t mask the struggles coming from living 10 people in house for years.

Hope this corporate centrist right bootlicker loses the vote. She undermined YEARS of progress that we painfully made within the EU. Her and the EPP need a reminder who is their actual priority when designing policy.

Merz or Scholtz… It’s absolutely heartbreaking that more is not being done to bring justice to the Ukranian people. Help should be delivered and should have been for a long time.

Centrist neolibs like him are the plague of a society. They chafe away at people’s hope, doing more for big corporations than for the people, throwing some bones of social benifits. Long run though… Long run their policies degrade standards of living and erode moral fiber until the desperation creeps in and extremism of any flavour becomes the dominant path.

Then all act like they didn’t see the Spanish Inquisition coming.
