Nowadays the name Elmo seems hilarious for this. Looks like the character on Sesame Street was introduced in 1980 but didn’t become a regular until 1985. This comic looks like it was published in 1985, so it might’ve been more coincidental and probably less of the joke.

They’re only looking for $250,000. That seems like it should be achievable. Really, a handful of corporate sponsorships from big companies, where $50,000 is almost nothing, could be all they need. Or 50,000 people giving $5 once a year.
Not having read the article, I assume it has to do with Russia firing a bunch of cheap junk that’s not very precise but can still be deadly and costs a lot less than most of the defenses used to destroy them, and can be sent in such large quantities that the defenses can’t get them all.

Yes, but you said you were using Resolve for color grading. My understanding is you should still be able to use that on Linux, but I haven’t tried it yet myself.
