It includes exceptions for data relating to law enforcement, national security, investigation and (hilariously) public interest. This covers data sharing, storage and processing. It doesn’t cover Article 22, the decision making by an automated process which has its own set of specific and limited exceptions defined which a government or law enforcement body would have to prove would apply in any case where they hope to bypass Article 22.

Dear EU. Thank you for enacting the GDPR. I would like to state categorically that I do not wish for any decisions to be made about me by an automated process.
