The far right loves referendums because it‘s easier to manipulate the masses around a single issue in a short period of time. And that‘s exactly why you should be suspicious of them.
I get your point but this always has been the case. Misinformation was made into an art during WWII and hasn’t gone since. Haven’t we had any democratic decisions since?
