You are absolutely right about George Bush, the “you are either with us or against us” comment did not land well among allies.
And starting a war on a lie obviously wasn’t popular either. Also the fact that he was elected twice was a bad sign.
And yes USA is the biggest threat to the world currently, it seems that even China has more respect for the sovereignty of other countries and international law. USA doesn’t even respect their own laws!! And self evidently definitely not international law.
