The far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) is far ahead in the polls in Saxony-Anhalt, a poll revealed on Thursday, just one year before the eastern state holds elections to its regional parliament.

In Thuringia where they already have a majority in parliament, the AfD was blocking democratic processes numerous times. The goal seems to be to hinder the government from functioning effectively, frustrate voters and therefore gather more votes in the future.
These poll results are a shame and really show the scale of frustration, misinformation and lack of education in the east. This is not easily fixable.
It is quite easily fixable by finally banning that Nazi scum. Unfortunately those who hold the power to do so don’t have a spine, and/or like to use the Nazis for stupid party political power games.
