One important thing here: Springer and Axel Springer are two different publishers. Springer is a publisher for scientific books and has nothing to do with Axel Springer, which is the publisher behind problematic newspapers like Bild, Welt or Politico.

Also so ganz verstehe ich die Argumentation nicht, dass es zu AWS (und co) keine Alternativen gäbe. Ich hatte noch nie Probleme mit Deepl, also warum muss man auf Hyperscaler setzen, wenn es in den aktuellen Strukturen (zumindest für mich als User) auch gut klappt? Dass das viel billiger ist, auf AWS zu setzen, glaube ich auch nicht gerade. Da würden mich echt mal die Hintergründe interessieren…

Jokes aside, people talking about the government collapsing soon reminds me of our last government. There, people talked about the collapse of the coalition for years and they nearly made it through their term. So I wouldn’t necessarily give too much about those surveys and just wait and see…

Und das wird wahrscheinlich nicht nur bei den Schweizer News-Portalen so sein, sondern auch übertragbar auf andere Plattformen und wahrscheinlich auch auf Deutschland. Zumindest würde ich davon mal ausgehen.
I’m not exactly sure but at least their logo just says Springer. Just wanted to point that out for people who might not know, because I was once confused about if they have anything to do with each other.
